What this archive includes

Annual Texas NIBRS downloads for 1997–2025 and the Texas portion of the 2026 year-to-date master file. The search displays Group A incidents and their offenses. Original downloads are preserved separately, including the additional arrest, property, victim, offender, and reference records supplied in each archive. Those additional tables are not displayed in this search.

These are reported records, not statewide crime estimates. Agency participation, definitions, submission delays, and reporting coverage change over time. Annual files can include an incident date outside the selected submission year. Do not compare raw totals as a measure of community safety. The 2026 release is provisional and may contain substantial gaps.
